Default Horizon CRJ??

was on a night flight with a student on tuesday and went into PDX, did a touch and go on 28R and on the go happened to look down and see a Horizon Air CRJ 7 or 9. Couldn't quite tell but definitely not a 200. Was parked there alongside a bunch of dash 8's on the ramp east of the terminal. has anyone seen a Horizon CRJ? i thought they got rid of them years ago and went to an all Dash fleet and haven't seen one in forever.

What he said.

It's SkyWest in Alaska paint. There are a growing number of them.

Skywest is replacing 9 CRJ700s with 15 E-175s for Alaska.

The CR2 are used occasionally in the Alaska system when a cr7 goes in for mx for a check. Skywest uses the generic "Skywest" CR2s for those.
