It was AA *womp womp*
In its first quarter earnings release this morning, AA confirmed that it "entered into an arrangement with Scandinavian Airlines to obtain two slot pairs at London’s Heathrow Airport, strengthening American’s presence at a key international gateway for American and joint business partner British Airways." AA President Robert Isom was quoted as stating that AA "moved quickly on the opportunity to add two new slot pairs at Heathrow, which we will use to improve service to and from one of the world's most important business markets."

Goes both ways. There's the 5% also that no matter what happens can't help themselves but to complain. It's like their full time job, remind every agent, FA, pilot how bad they have it. I'd rather fly with a juicer than some miserable SOB looking for other miserable SOBs.

I can't help but laugh at people when they talk about widebodies or us flying to Europe.
Ummm... we can't even get our sh!t together domestically, how about we start there. We already fly across the pond, just look a T5 in JFK or Terminal C in BOS, we already have A330/A340s going to Europe... they just don't say JB on the side.

Just try to keep domestic/island flying together. I think Hayes will try, but can imagine the growing pains on a 350 after the embraer?
