Early termination of pairing in base...hotel?

I see in the FSM that if there is a delay of at least 5 hours in base during a pairing, we get a hotel.
I just got released from a pairing a day early, as of tonight (pairing was supposed to end tomorrow afternoon). I could have sworn I was released a couple of months ago under similar circumstances, and the company paid for a hotel. Is there an FSM section dealing with that, or is it considered a 5-hour sit since it was technically during the original pairing footprint, or was scheduling just being nice that time and I wasn't actually required to get a room (doubtful)?
Thx

Since you're in base, and the pairing is over, I don't think the hotel applies. If you're middle of a pairing in base you get a hotel. If you're delayed 5 hours you get a hotel. But being released from your pairing early means you go home.

This. FSM F.11 is your source. Any sit (block in to block out) greater than or equal to five hours (5:00) scheduled or unscheduled but known.
