Default Pilot shirt fitting

I was only given one choice for a shirt size and fit and it was the Van Heusen Aviator. I chose my neck size and that's it. I'm 5"7 150 lbs and I'm swimming in this huge shirt! Minus steroids to bulk up, does anyone know of a good place to order a custom "blue shirt" from? I could get it altered, but it's overall too large and will look funny if I just take in the torso. Any suggestions would help, the uniform store at JB University told me it was the only option, that van heusen doesn't offer a slim fit and alteration was my only choice.

You can:

Send it back and get a smaller neck and tailor it

Or

You can tailor what you got...

Or

You can go with the old shirt style... and tailor it

Either way you go nothing is going to fit you. You can look like a slob as the company has set you up for or eat the 10-20 bucks to tailor each shirt so you don't look like a hobo.

Welcome to JetBlue

You got hired by JetBlue?
Sucks to be you buddy

Seriously, go to a Latino tailor.
These are the best to tighten things up a bit.
Expect between $25-$35/shirt

I got a shirt that was too small in the neck but fit through the body (well enough), then got a button extender which is hidden by my tie. Works well and cost just a few bucks for like 10 of them.

I'm not even sure why they do uniform fittings. Everything needs to be heavily tailored out of the box. I bought some VH aviator shirts online and they fit great (I'm normal sized like you).

Ive actually spoken to them. they can do blue shirts very easily they just need a big enough initial order or even better for our uniform people to just make them an approved vendor and they'll start makimg them. of course my mention of this to our uniform people fell on deaf ears.

i really wish we had real uniforms. had better quality at colgan

Any idea how this shade of blue compares? They're made-to-measure. Just send them your measurements and they'll make custom shirts the fits your body. $55 each, minimum order of 3 shirts.
