I totally agree, I'm not sure if it was the budget cuts or what but management sucks right now. The line employees are the ones keeping everything together, while the top guys are in MCO talking about lift award winners. Look you can do all that but your operations bettter be rock solid.

I was a revenue customer on a flight this week. BOS-West Coast. Departure was initially delayed 3 hours for crew rest. Of course min 10 hours after they landed at 0330. Jet was already on the gate waiting for the crew when MAINT opened a cowling. That turned into another 4 hour delay. Arrived at the West Coast destination. No Gate. 30 minutes got a gate and shut down. 20 more minutes to open the cabin door.
Customers blew up Twitter. Today got an email for $150 voucher and apologies. This stuff is costing real dollars.

Recently heard of 2 flights to same destination... Couldn't leave because TAF was calling for 1/4sm. 4 hour delay for new TAF.
New TAF came out, legal to depart. Ops holds flight, afraid flights still won't get in (METAR 1/2sm vv200).
Wait another 30 for new METAR: 3sm / 300ovc. 10 minutes later ops cancelled them both.
