No, flying the 190 will make you appreciate the quality of life you had while flying the 190 when and if you decide to chase the money flying the Canadian or French products.

When I got hired onto the 190 a long time ago I wasn’t happy, until I quickly realized I was flying a good line while my new hire bus driver classmates were still on short call back when that was all we had.

Don't fear the 190, doing it again I would have bid it as a new hire intentionally.

I bid the 190 intentionally when I got hired. Spent 2 months on reserve and then could hold a line that satisfied my needs. The VDA’s were plentiful. You gain seniority in base quickly. I remember staffing getting so short, CS would cold call me asking to pick anything and it was VDA pay. Good crews, and the airplane itself was good to fly.
But…SYR overnights get old 😂 You would have trips that never left the state of NY. And the pay separation just becomes too much after year 2. That’s when it’s time to bid over.
Honestly, if the pay was the same, I’d probably still be on that aircraft.
