If memory serves me right, medical and dental starts after your first full calendar month. So a 2 April start means means benefits start 1 June. But someone who started recently will likely have the most correct response to this part.

Training pay until you are signed off on the type, final sim. Then 1st year pay while at home waiting on OE.

Medical and Dental benefits start on the first of the month after your DOH, which is new in the contract. So if your DOH is April 15, your benefits start May 1.

First of the month after a COMPLETE calendar month.
Can you provide a contract reference?

Arrive. Turn in your paperwork. Get finger printed. Do an HR interview with 7 HR questions. Go back and forth to a waiting room with some chief pilots and you can ask questions. Then go off to do a computer test that takes about two hours. There’s a personality section, a cognitive section, and a flight simulator section. That’s it. You’ll be there about 5-6 hours.

I interviewed on a Wednesday and received the ‘Welcome to Phase II’ email the following Monday. Have been in Phase II for 3 weeks. HR has since followed up to schedule drug screening and confirm how much lead time was needed to be given to current employer once background check is complete.
