I’m not saying that the case either. It’s definitely competitive to get hired at the Legacy. But, when they call you’re leaving.

I love the rosy warm speeches at recurrent where the MCO chief (usually his first officer lackey) tell you how attrition is non existent, the lodge is expanding and Widebodies are around the corner.

Attrition seems to be pretty low, so I don't know what to tell ya. If you're senior to me, you should definitely go!

If you’re on BluePilots there’s a thread that tracks (basically monthly or so) if who’s left and where. Based on that I’d say attrition is relatively low, for whatever reason. FEDEX-awesome choice! Also, Super competitive there. The only place I’ve heard guys from Delta go-says a lot! Not sure if that RSA question was directed at me but you obviously don’t know me. Never ever put RSA/VDA on my schedule. Doubt I ever will. I’m a commuter and my time off is precious.

Anecdotally, I’ve been here a little over a year and my seniority has moved up by 80. So anecdotally, I would say it’s relatively low attrition. No one from my class has left yet.

I got a buddy in my reserve unit who works for FedEx and he has some great stories about ridiculously high premium pay trips. I think that could be the golden goose.

I’m not saying it’s bad to pick up RSA, I’m saying you’re more than likely going to be used. At least with VDA you can say No. (don’t answer the phone)

I’ve flown with a guy who left for FedEx as a 2 year FO. (regional background) I know another 2 year FO who interviewed at UAL and didn’t get hired but is trying for a second interview.

I’m in the perpetual trap of JetBlue. The money here is good. I drive to work. But.......I get abused on a daily basis on the line. I’m treated like a reserve pilot when I’m a line holder and who’s held accountable? No one. Blatant violation of the CBA. Argued against me because the IROP delays changed the rules.

Every time CS calls me it’s for an EMA. Yeah, 2 in a calendar year. The best is that they don’t track that for 2 reasons. If they did it would be full by Jan 15th. Secondly, you can’t say no because if you did you’d be stuck sitting next to the customers in the terminal as they’re yelling at you (happened to me twice this week), no hotel, no one to talk to (2 hour call times) and no answers.

And......now the dust is settling you have to go fight for the pay they supposedly were going to give you in the EMA assignment. Crew pay doesn’t give a $hut what CS says. They follow their rules.

How about asking for a note to reimburse for your Uber to your car because the Logan express stopped running at 0115 and now it’s 0300? This is after I flew a jet I shouldn’t have on an extension I shouldn’t have taken just so I could go the F home and end the pain. The answer? No.

Or, I can leave and start over. It shouldn’t suck like this at JetBlue. But it does. For now.

I agree they should’ve reimbursed you, I’ve heard them do it before.

I’m sure you know this, but go to the Departures level and take the first inbound Logan Express bus. I know Braintree and Framingham the first bus in the morning is 2:15am. So arrives at Terminal C around 2:45.

So, JB has been "record" hiring for months and has had almost NO recent aircraft deliveries and the staffing is soo bad they have to violate the contract with "incentive pay" just to try and hold the operation together?

Do I have that right?

I feel like motivating us to care would yield dividends at this point.

Profit sharing ABSOLUTELY would have done that! Now? Most I see now do the bare minimum. Sad. This place COULD be so much better.
