What if your partner who is a DR tells you on a rainy Monday that you have cystic fibrosis? Hmmmmm |

I'm almost convinced 360 is a mgmt plant. Yes, something must be missing from your life if you dare to complain about deficiencies in your pay/QOL that other airlines don't suffer. You. Must. Sacrifice. To. Work. Here. |
I understand you pick your aircraft the first day. Will there be any opportunity to see and sit in the 190 and 320 sim before making a decision? Seems like that would be a good idea before deciding. Especially for taller/larger folks.

Now that’s actually a good idea! I’m 6’2” and the 190 is pretty tight because of the HUD projector sitting over your head. CRJ is a more comfortable flight deck. [emoji53] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If QOL is what your after as a new-hire commuter, the ONLY thing that matters is how quickly you can get off RSV and start to have some control over your life. And to do that here at B6 you bid the 190 JFK. Ya the 190 flight deck sucks compared to the Bus and it's basically regional flying, but you know what sucks more: Having to spend 10-15 nights a month sitting in a sh!thole crash pad in Queens waiting to get called to do red-eye round trips to the Caribbean because you liked the flight deck better on the Bus over the 190. Easily going to spend 8-12 months more on Rsv if you bid the Bus. |

But they aren't all that frequent. I'm hearing about 1-2 a month in JFK. Another thing to consider is the leg differences. 1-2 legs a day on the bus vs 4-5 a day on the 190. And locations. More NE regional-like trips on the 190. The 320 actually GOES places like the west coast and Caribbean. And yet another factor is taking your spouse along, if you're into that sort of thing. Mo betta on the 320 than the 190. Shorter RSV on the Emb, same first year pay, so if a line is what you seek, the 190 is preferable. You're very likely to make more on the 190 than the bus in your first year, if you're chasing the dollar. So.many things to consider. |
