i emailed them last month about something unrelated and they message me back stating my PRIA had cleared. “When offering classes, we do give priority to those who have completed their PRIA review.”

I’m a Sep 19th interview who entered the pool in early January. Blue pilot recruiting told me they were still waiting on PRIA and I should email blue backgrounds. Emailed...got no response. So I called GIS. GIS said my PRIA was done and they were waiting on my National Drivers registry to come back. Which they don’t do anymore. Seems like a long time for the NDR. And I’m worried there might be a disconnect somewhere on the PRIA since GIS says I’m good but Jetblue recruiting says they are still waiting for it? Unsure how to proceed.

Anyone have any other ideas?

FWIW I emailed back pilot recruitment with the info and haven’t heard back yet. To be fair though it was this afternoon so it hasn’t been too long.

Give JB time to respond. Sometimes it takes up to a week. I was in your same position. I called the NDR place in D.C and while they can't release any info particularly to my case, the lady told me it does not take long. This is how it works according to the lady. GIS email them to inquire if I'm on a list or something, then they check my record then send an email back to GIS with the result. Does not take more than a day (unless NDR place is backed up, but they weren't that day)

So I called back GIS and gave them that information and they transfered me to someone else that could get more info on my case. I told that person and she said she would reach out to that department and call me back the next day. 2 days later I got an email from blue background (I had emailed them like you did) saying they now have everything and I'll be getting a call for class the following week. I called back GIS the monday just to hear what my case status was and they said everything was complete and submitted.

So a bit of investigative work on my end, but give JB time to reply to your email. However, you can investigate on the other side.

I’m in the same boat. Phase 2 complete but waiting on PRIA. I called GIS and they said everything is done. They emailed me a copy of my report. I emailed JB still waiting for a reply. It would be nice t know what JB is waiting on when everything is complete.

 

When did you interview?

An update...Wednesday I called GIS and they told me my PRIA was complete (after JB told me it wasn’t) and that I was just waiting on my NDR. I emailed that information back to JB. Thursday I called the NDR and the Missouri NDR office to inquire on the status and they both say no way it would take this long. Missouri said more than that which was interesting but irrelevant so ill skip that part. Anyway so I called GIS back and they told me that as of an hour ago everything in my packet was now complete and that info was sent to JB an hour before my call. I then emailed back JB for confirmation and now am just waiting for a response. So either 1) that was a big coincidence; 2) my stuff was just sitting there done for who knows how long and me inquiring prompted someone to actually look at it or; 3) my stuff still isn’t done and it’s more miscommunication/misinformation. So still waiting to hear back from JB myself.

 

What number did you use for the NDR? I haven't been able to find a good number and running me in circles and every time I try and contact MO all I get is a busy tone.

 

Interviewed last summer already been 7 months. Prob going to be 8 at this point.

 

The webinar JB hosted from the ALPA FFDC Hiring Event made it sound like the company is actively working to shorten the time from interview to class date. They said they’re expecting to get people through Phase II in 2-4 months this year as they have tons of classes that need to be filled. We shall see.
