Yeah I know that guy. I agree, still do the interview, get the CJO then decide or as you said cancel when on property. That's sucks bad yow.

Atleast at Commutair, there is a LOA between the company and the union which allow pilots to come back within a year but your seniority would pause for the amount of time you were off property.
