From what I heard all the regional guys who were hosed by UAL the other day were all able to rescind their resignations and keep their jobs. I would expect most employers would do the same, especially in extreme circumstances like right now. Related, I know of one guy at commutair who recently told delta TBNT because he was supposed to start March 3rd at UAL. Oops. I wouldn’t cancel a class or interview anywhere until I was on property somewhere else. Never know when the music will stop in this business.
After the 2 weeks is up, I wouldn't expect many airlines/unions allow guys to get their old seniority number back...

Atleast at Commutair, there is a LOA between the company and the union which allow pilots to come back within a year but your seniority would pause for the amount of time you were off property.

Pilot shortage, it's a whole new world at the desperate regionals I guess.
