Why the heartburn about profit sharing, heard JB sent out an email saying they take care of their employees.

TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars $xx,xxx, vs a nicely worded email.

Same-same.

Maybe it’s because it says “PILOT” on DL badges. My self esteem isn’t wrapped up in what a gate agent thinks about me. Many of them worked a Kohl’s 3 weeks ago.

I’m unaware, but is there something inherently wrong with Kohl’s?

nope, but they have no idea about pilots/FA’s/bag handlers. Just like gate agents.

I love that we're all turning into the fashion police now. Explain how they are a joke? Pretty sure every other airline wears a variant of the same thing.

It's a button up shirt with stripes on it and pants. I've had mine for a few years and it hasn't fallen apart (Except for 1 out of my 3 ties that started to come unstitched). I even like the discreet overcoat without stripes on it. Never been a fan of the whole pilot monkey suit, be it a white shirt, pink shirt or blue shirt. I have way more important things to worry about (Like the reserve grid system setup, ability to drop/swap trips and contractual language) then to get worked up over if my shirt is blue or white.

In a past life I could wear a simple button up or golf shirt with no stripes and no tie and black slacks. That was my pilot uniform. Unless we're fighting to get that then I couldn't care less, because that was the most comfortable uniform I ever wore.

Big difference between fashion police and wanting something that fits and is functional. I’m not talking colors here I’m talking ordering a shirt and getting in a reasonable time. Or maybe talking with pilots about the jacket that after you wear it once during a rainy walk around needs to get cleaned. I don’t but this I have more important stuff to worry about. You took the the time post about something you aren’t worried about. We have committees that are designed to work on different things so it’s a fair complaint. The uniform, the quality, the fit and the process are a joke.

I agree with coolhand if they care about brand so much It certainly does not seem to be a factor in our uniform choices.
