No.
No. This is the first time I’ve had a contract, a LOA or a concession in front of me where I’ve ever been so clear about how I feel.
It’s safe, I doubt anyone will argue, as the vocal opinion seems to think as I do and opposition knows they’d be ridiculed by others.
I guess I just felt the need to add my opinion. But man. This offer is really bad.
What’s worse is, if this passes, how I’ll feel about the people I work with, let alone work for.

ALPA, 2017:
”Here’s the TA. We know you guys wanted better pay scales, but instead we got you industry leading scope. Scope is much more important. What good is great pay if someone else is flying your planes? If you have an iron-clad scope section, you can always negotiate pay later, but the company will never let us renegotiate better scope.”
ALPA, 2020:
”COVID is kicking our buttz, but we are giving the company a one-time chance to do a codeshare with AA. It’s something they could do anyway in 2021, but they came to us to see if they could kick it off a little earlier. Because we’re bleeding money. Nothing else changes with our scope. Not for AA and not for anyone else. And nobody will get furloughed.”
ALPA 2021:
“Well, looks like the AA deal is more like a joint venture. It turns out the company wants a lot more relief. Nobody could have seen this coming. So we negotiated away that industry-leading scope section, and we gave the company 10 years to run with it even though our contract fizzles out next year. But the good news is... two percent raises for everybody! Just one time, though. Not for the next ten years.”

Thats the fear- The anger comes from the fact that they have offered nothing to relieve scope for 5-10 years. Laughable. They shouldve polished this turd first. 3%/PS/CASH.
