Whoever wrote that "response" is an idiot. I'm assuming it's an attorney but where the hell did they take the Bar? Haiti? I predict no matter how this goes down there will be new SEC regulations written and MBA courses on how to get a cushy BOD job and not to put yourself into jeopardy of being sodomized in a prison shower.
And Spirit will have 5 BOD seats at the post merger F9. But they voted 9-0 in favor ? Why then did the 4 who are left with no board seat still vote no?

are you referring Ben Baldanzas cushy BOD job at B6? After being dispatched from here he just happens to get a BOD at B6, perhaps to shed insight into spirits inner workings and growth strategies? Seems legit and not a conflict at all.

On the call Spirit CEO mentioned how the pilots will benefit for more QOL thanks to more bases. He mentioned zero about pay parity. You would think Spirit pilots would pefer to sit and the table next to JBU.

and thankfully all this is now in the hands of the shareholders. The owners of the company will decide which way they wanna go .. not the BOD, not the CEOs, not the lawyers. The voters will decide

I haven’t voted yet, but his denial or outright rejection on the circumstances around pilot retention are steering me in a certain direction…

I listened to the call and rolled my eyes when I heard Teddy’s response. His head is in the sand with his fingers in his ears singing lalalalalalalalalalalalala…..

That’s not surprising to me at all. I’d highly expect him to not mention anything about pay. Like many guys in these chats that get upset about negotiating in public, and rightly so, that would be equivalent of him doing the same. He’s gonna keep anything CBA related close to the chest. Both F9 and NK are tough partners when it comes to the negotiating. No secret there. Sometimes the devil you know is better than the one you don’t..

You've misunderstood the thrust of my comment. B6 employees, have erroneously stated that B6 has long coveted NK. This is false. They only pounced when they realized it would be a competitive threat. The tales we tell ourselves to suit the narrative we are most comfortable with is ingrained in the human psyche.
How do you know the spirit guys are telling the truth?
