The only base I could probably see going away is ACY. Not saying they won't serve ACY, but with JFK/EWR being bases already and so close....

Kinda surprised we haven’t heard more on this in the last day or two. As far as I know the shareholder vote is still on for 6/30… and we don’t know anything. Something needs to happen now. Expecting an announcement that the 6/30 vote is outright cancelled but who knows.

Read the disclosures on the SEC site. Calls between chairman happening even on Saturday and Spirit exchanging “executive retention” proposals.
Spirit also requested an updated offer from Frontier for June 20.

The Offer is being made pursuant to a pending merger agreement between Purchaser, JetBlue and Spirit. Upon completion of the Offer, JetBlue will consummate a second-step merger with Spirit surviving as a wholly owned subsidiary of JetBlue.

That’s how it works with Spirit bought by Sundowner Corp and held there until integrated.

Looking down the barrel of a hostile takeover and being left on the curb, NK management is now scurrying to cut the best individual deals they can, realizing their sweetheart deals with F9 are already up in smoke.
