Robin Hayes has already stated that they would not give up the NEA if they had to choose between the two.

It was in one of the interviews he did on cable news in the day or two after the Spirit offer was public. I’m sorry, I can’t remember which one, but I’m quite confident that he said that.

That's not what he said. He didn't answer directly, and doesn't believe a choice is required.

The correct political donation to influential politicians eliminates a lot of government hurdles.
Minor divestiture of NYC assets may be required, but my guess is that will be all that is required.
