Since we can't know what the executives and/or management were promised by Frontier for after the merger is complete, we can only look at the facts, and circumstances surrounding them and draw a conclusion.

Let's START with the fact that Spirit has been planning this for the last couple of years, without ever soliciting a competing purchase bid from any other airlines. In the case of M&A, the board is required to seek the best return for the shareholders, how can it be known if a higher value/price can't be found elsewhere if you never sought any other proposals, and if Robin is to be believed, refused to discuss the details of the bid?

I just hate that it's Frontier, I mean the horror stories are real, I actually talked to a guy getting investigated because he commuter claused to work, and he actually got to base 1 hour late. They refused to pay him, what kind of bs is that?
JB has been competing, surviving and in many cases winning, slowly, against the big 4 for over 20 years.

I feel like JetBlue got a real kickstart post 9/11 when all the Legacies were furloughing as part of the lost decade. Just because JetBlue has thrived in the past two decades, doesn’t necessarily mean the next two will go as well. Especially with an ever increasing pilot shortage and a management team that can’t seem get out of their own way. I’ve got a lot riding on this, so obviously hoping for the best.

With such diametrically opposed offers, either a lot more cash now, or maybe, possibly, could be, might be, maybe someday, the F9 offer might increase in value to maybe possibly meet or exceed the B6 offer, years from now, maybe... With that disparity in offers, NK management should be putting these offers up for a choice vote with shareholders.

If they aren't willing to do that, not willing to hear other serious offers for the company, one must ask themselves why not? The answer becomes more clear when you do that mental exercise.

You're not wrong. Neither am I, both are true.

We desperately need some vision in LSC, and pretty much a full C-suite replacement. They are failing, and wasting the great potential of this company.

You don’t get paid if you use the commuter clause basically anywhere.

Basically what I said this morning before the letter from JB came to light. This was a backroom deal in the works for some time. This is not about the share holders, rather its about management and the boards of NK/F9. This is a deal for them. NK, B6, or F9 have any idea what or what not the DOJ would approve with varying circumstances and conditions. If this truly was about the shareholders, then NK would go with the B6 deal in that it offers more money AND concessions in the event the deal were rejected.

Just curious if they both said it at the same time, or if one said it and the second repeated it.
