I think SLC is very unlikely. I think SFO has a chance. Joanna has mentioned LAS growth and I heard her say potentially more PHX flying but not sure whether that meant a potential focus city. I don’t think anything else out west is likely until the Alaska merger.
Why SFO? It’s expensive to operate out of there and you have CA taxes as well as their labor laws. Besides, you already have LAX, for CA and NK has a large base in LAS. They are the second biggest carrier there after SWA. Even PDX would be better - at least once they’ve finished their terminal expansion.
