Default The TBNT letter ….??

Interviewed early July and was emailed that I was moving on to Phase ll later that same day. Still waiting on further communications regarding drug screen, Hire Right background and fingerprints.

I’ve heard that jetBlue is reducing the number of people brought in to interview. My group was 7 pilots. I was told that not everyone will make phase ll. I’m now hearing from those who know people who went through the interview process and moved on to Phase ll but were later told that they did not receive the position.

Anyone else hearing if this ? Not sure what the reason could be. We were all told to disclose everything. Even if you had to repeat a sim during your initial type rating or ANY summons / ticket / citation that you have on your drivers abstract. Odd that they would move you to Phase ll and then tell you know. All the pilots interviewed were current 121 pilots in my group.

Moving to phase 2 has never meant that you're guaranteed the position. When I went through majority made it to phase 2 and they still had some even after making it to phase 2 get the TBNT. The email I got when I got phase 2 made sure it said everything they compile goes to the pilot hiring committee and not to assume any final outcomes. If I remember correctly when I did it a couple years ago even the phase 2 complete email said congrats you're in the pool but its not an official job offer which doesn't come until you get closer to the class date. Just keep an eye out on your emails and good luck!

Come over to Spirit, we'll have you class in a week and in 2 years you'll be be at Jetblue. Be advised though, after 3 strikes in training you're out, after that you can go to Frontier. 😁

Thing to keep in mind. Interviews, job offers, hiring pools, class dates etc will have no impact on seniority for the eventual ISL. Only the day that you begin class will place you in line. Having begun class and receiving a paycheck is the standard. And everyone hired on both sides after the official merger notice will be placed in date-of-hire order. No blending or ratio

agreed with the sentiment that, the sooner to get hired by either carrier the better. If JetBlue is delaying classes, then spirit will get you on the seniority list earlier.
