Well then I guess I rescind my praise for the Negotiating Committee under its new leadership, must have had no influence on the matter and all credit goes to the MEC. All kidding aside yes I’m happy to see the changes in them MEC reps as well which no doubt contributed to this outcome.

Can’t wait for the inevitable rebuttal from an outlier Spirit pilot, where they attempt to explain how DTZ is still superior to having VIL @ 50-hours credit in trough months (at our vastly higher payrates, which will also be adjusting to market rate sans SWA in a year)

BlueJet's PS is a 10% plan. The 20% trigger is words on a paper. We will never achieve it.

And yet I routinely blamed them in the past as well…. It’s all good. I just have much more faith in both my MEC and NC moving forward than I’ve had since the the moment the past NC reached a TA and the MEC canceled the second picket …. I feel like I’ve been continuously been gaslit, had expectations raised and immediately lowered so fast ive been suffering from multiple counts of whiplash ever since. All the same I hope to keep this newfound confidence in both until they prove me otherwise….. fair enough?!

This may have been a throwaway comment, but just to be clear—if you spend 30 years at JB, 19 of those years will be at year 12 rates—so they impact everyone who is here to stay. That’s not always obvious, so I thought I’d clarify. We are ALL the 1% of which you speak, in the blink of an eye with respect to an airline career.

So when does JCBA negotiating start if/when Judge approves NK/B6 merger? (it should be determined sometime in Dec if a deal isn't reached before). I am guessing we would get our last raise during negotiations (8/1/24) for JCBA. Does anyone expect the top end pay rate $356 from LOA 19 to be the top end pay for our new JCBA year one?
