Dutch farmers have driven their tractors into Amsterdam several times in recent years, most recently in 2022:
Now, on the other side of the cuts is a reduction in travel and tourism into the Netherlands. Does anyone know if there's any pushback from the hospitality sector?
The bien-pensant elites will do what they do, but I think of your average Dutch as rational adults, and it would be weird to go back to the Middle Ages and self-flagellate just because Greta cried.

These people don’t want competition (especially lower cost competition ). They’d love fares to triple. They in fact want to force reductions to current flying which by default will “artificially” raise prices in itself by constraining capacity among existing carriers.
