Just out of curiosity, is a gate purchase in Chicago something JetBlue might be interested in at this point since a lot of the Spirit merger was to get their gates, planes, and pilots?
I doubt it is in the cards right now but just thought I would ask.

Joanna’s recent emails seem to be focused on operational reliability and network changes causing us to retrench to our big hubs like JFK/FLL. I think those two cities will be the biggest importance for the next year or two, then we branch out into a Midwest excursion of some sort.

Yeah, there really isn’t any growing or shrinking in JFK in terms of departures/arrivals (barring the FAA slot reduction program) but I meant focusing on JFK operations and trying to isolate it from the rest of the network to mitigate the cancer spread during an IROP. Crews/aircraft doing more out and back type of stuff and not having out of base crews flying through on pairings.
