How would we know if we were still alive if we didn't have our annual displacement bid to remind us?

PVBM shows an effective date of sometime in November. I’m guessing they want crews there quick so -3 months that they can advance you. Means a System Bid can’t cover what they’re looking for. So a supplemental followed by a System Bid?
Might have to bid 220 to sit for 6 months waiting for training.

I would wait for it to actually open before forming an opinion on dates, timing, etc etc.

Bid will be out this week.

I guess that means they settled any FLL real estate issues with BCAD?

Now would be a great time to move LIC to Spirit's gigantic new operations center in Dania Beach. Maybe even close MCO Lodge and move all our operations under one roof at what will soon be our 2d biggest hub, maybe largest one day.

What is this "hiring" word you speak of? We know that movement isn't allowed here. Nothing from the bottom, and any retirements at the top just help with"right sizing" the company.

They opened up the Gateway program for employees earlier this month and will be opening the family Gateway program by the middle of June. My guess is they'll begin draining the current Gateway bathtub soon.

That effective date is from the last 2025 supplement bid we had.

Cranky has a piece on JB FLL today:

This morning both Ed Bastain(Delta) and Michael O’leary(Ryan Air Group) referenced scale, among other issues, as a factor as to why low cost carriers can’t survive. FLL is a feel good story but a financial savior? JFK is losing money and jetblue is losing ground to Delta in BOS.
