Just my 2cents: I think the combined Max/NEO issues have opened everyone's eyes to not having all your collective eggs in one manufacturers basket.

My gut feel is that the new regime at AS is over the boeing fan boy cult thing. They like them because they're cheap, but with a very healthy dose of suspicion as a business partner.

I think going forward they'll do what makes business sense. No way could they offload 300 B6 airbii in a hypothetical merger, at least not in our working lifetimes.
