Default 144 million loss

Ok, let’s here the excuses.

Good people, good product, no network, bad management.

It's sad watching an airline die in real time largely due to mismanagement and not be able to do anything about it. We should be Alaska, instead we're Spirit on a slower time frame.

Could be worse. Could be Frontier who is spirit on a slightly slower timeline but faster than B6.

and best part is by the time the BKs happen at each carrier, UA won’t have any hiring left to do so we won’t get the benefit the NK pilots are getting. Beautiful!

They beat estimates. Why wasn’t this post started last week when the loss was projected to be over $160 million? Sucks to lose money, and it’s ultimately unsustainable, but don’t act so surprised.

Did you think JB was going to be profitable for the quarter?

Yeah not making excuses or saying it’s a good thing by any means, but it’s definitely not a surprise. We can write off 2025 altogether. If this is still the case by Q3 next year, that’s a different story.

Guy, we lost twice as much as last year’s Q3. “Beating estimates” doesn’t mean **** when the estimates were garbage to begin with.

But yeah, of course we aren’t surprised, it’s just demoralizing when 2025 was supposed to be “the year.” Now it’s 2026, I’m sure by then it’ll be 2027…

You copium addicts have been saying that for years and the goalposts keep moving.

“Guy” put your big boy pants on. Estimates are what the results are measured against. Now go back to being demoralized.

Congratulations, we oh so slightly exceeded the dismal forecast we projected. Instead of our final flight being May 21st 2029 it's now August 17th 2029. Forgive me and the stock market for not dancing in glee.
