yeah, and we took it back in many ways through the efforts of a bunch of guys who formed an independent union then came back to alpa when they asked us to. as it stands now, we're pretty much at the top of the **** pile compared to everyone else. so i guess i miss your point unless it was to call me a scab or something (which i'm not, you can check your list) or tell me that stuff that happened 20 years ago is relevant to today's airline career environment (which, in most cases is not.)

Relax Bill. No one is calling you a scab. My point is that you guys were the lowest paid for a LONG time. So long I remember my previous employer cramming your rates down our throat to no avail. Now you are on the pedestal preaching to us. Save it. It's like the pot calling the kettle black or preaching to the choir. So many of you guys think we just fell of a turnip truck yesterday. There are plenty of things I don't like about JetBlue but it's still the best place I have ever worked.

The one not letting go is the one who is on a pilot message board with the label of another airline's name, trying to talk said airline's pilots into joining a union. And it doesn't appear that you have stopped. Ongoing, apparently.........

yeah, so who had bad pay and forced the company to give its pilots more? oh yeah; a lot of airlines other than JB. we started out bad and gradually brought about change in the right (upper) direction. you guys started low and are going lower. and you like it. now THAT'S scary.

OK, YOUR company didn't drag the industry down?
I can't believe a CAL pilot is throwing stones in HIS glass house...

You amuse me. You really do. You've got issues, serious acceptance issues. You can't see the irony of telling me I can't let it go, yet here you are, multiple pages later, still "peddling the clams" and telling us how bad the "shrimp" is. All the while proclaiming that it doesn't bother you one way or the other. Somehow, you think that you will convince us that B6 is bad. Do you think that automatique is going to read your 275th post on this subject and say "Gee, I never thought about that, maybe you are right"? Is that your wet dream?

Yeah, I've got issues, thanks for the impromptu diagnosis. I will give your diagnosis the proper attention.
I suppose Ted Kaczynski bumped into a few people in his life and said to himself:" Geez, what a weirdo!", then turned his attention back to his writing.

bill the hypocrite;

get your facts straight:

A. we also started out "bad" (i.e. airbus) and went in the "right direction".....(i.e. after america west "negotiated" their last collective bargaining agreement they still made less than a jb airbus pilot).. ouch

B. when you done sniffing your newark smog enlighten us on the difference in pay between jb and united airbus pilots.........ouch

C. we dislike the 190 payrates, but rest assured, if that a/c is profitable, there will be a raise.. i guess well have to suck it up until it happens. just like the continental pilots did throughout the 90's. (didnt southwest pilots make more than co pilots during that period??? oh, thats rights you started out "bad" after being in business for how long?????? ouch

thanks for going in the right direction, it only took you guys 30 years??

p.s. please enlighten us on how your "givebacks" 2 years ago helped other legacy carriers go in the "right" direction?????? OUCH

wow. where do i start? we aren't BK america west/usair, nor are we BK united, nor are we, thank god, JB selling tickets from JFK to florida for $29.00, a sure winning, long-term strategy. i guess you didn't want retirement with that, right?

it may have taken us 15 years (not 30) to go in the right direction but at least we WENT in the right direction, unlike scientology airlines. you seem to forget that when bob six ran CO it was the premier U.S. airline. lorenzo's rape of the company is a relatively recent thing. ALL of that, however, is ancient history for purposes of this pointless discussion.

our "givebacks" were ill-advised as a clear case can be made that the company didn't need concessions. unfortunately, when you have management wannabe stooges running your union, this is what happens. it's a cautionary tale for everyone to think about before voting for "partnership accords" with management; they will only go one way. oh, wait; your whole business plan, employment policy, 5-year contract, low pay and going lower-thing is one GIGANTIC "partnership accord". may you be blessed with the same kind of results we've had with it. BTW, the "givebacks were 9 months ago, at the tail-end of everyone else's givebacks, they weren't "2 years ago". you like to whine about facts; yours are AWOL.

now, roll over, go back to sleep, and don't forget to pray to neeleman before you drop off.
