Seemed like about 5-15 people at a time in line. Certainly not the hour+ wait for Delta, AA, or UAL (maybe 100+ in line?). People were lined up before 5 am for fast passes for the legacies. SWA also looked like they were getting about the same or a little less attention than jetBlue.

Wow..history really does repeat itself. That's exactly how it was at the 2 Airinc Conferences I went to back in 98-99. Stood in line for an hour for a chance to hand my resume to Plato R. Definitely worth it since DAL had 17k apps on file. How was the Alaska line?

DL just officially announced another 600 on top of the 300 already hired..50/month thru 4/15.

Good luck to all..

Does anyone know if there is a way to confirm that your App is active from the Nov open window?

I never got a " Thank you for applying with JetBlue" email or any email on the Nov window.

You can only update your profile. Basic pilot hours exc.

If you click "application status" it only states "received" and the Date. Nov 21.

If you click "view information requests" on the Status Page "responded on Nov 21 2013" appears below status but everything else remains the same. Anyone have any idea what "responded on Nov 21 2013" means? Trying to make sure I didn't miss an email or something.

Any insight?

Constant influx of people all day, both Thursday and Friday. I had a clear shot of the JetBlue booth, as I was working the main door to the Exhibit hall both days.

Standing in line for a fast pass at 0400 was a fruitless effort. Initially, the people people weren't accepting resumes after confirming that you were in their system. I spoke with B.S. for a while, who accepted my resume, only to have a good email address for the July window. Big "D" was actually returning resumes, explaining to applicants that their legal department said that they cannot keep them. Weirdoramma.

Say what? Have we crossed into an unchartered region?

Guys,

What's a good time-frame to look at a JetBlue job coming from just starting (9months) at a commuter (Expressjet)? I am looking at JetBlue and VirginAmerica and Spirit. I know It'll be a while but honestly with all the hiring going on, it may not be that long. Who knows? Thanks.

Check about 8 pages back, post #948 .... references what JB considers "competitive"

Apply early, update often. Doesn't matter what your quals are. If nothing it will show a pattern of interest and determination to get hired at jetblue.

This is almost totally wrong. JetBlue did have a good, steady stream, but if someone was there at 4 am for a fast pass, they definitely got one of their choice and likely a second of opportunity. Delta and American had the strongest lines for passes, then United and Alaska were close. JetBlue and SW were much less competitive. Also, what Delta said was they would shred the resume, per their legal department because they simply don't use resumes - only airlineapps.com. They still took the resume and said they would only use it to note who stopped by the booth, then would shred it, but it still mattered that you came to see them.
