They would traditionally open the pilot hiring window once or twice a year and leave it open for a couple weeks. They figure if you've got your heart set on JetBlue then you'll be paying attention for the window opening. They'd also flush the old pilot applications every cycle.

That was the JetBlue mindset prior to the hiring madness of 2021-2023.

Hi all. Just appplied. I see there wont be much hiring in 2024. I dont imagine I would be overly competitive at 1600 TT, 600 turbine, unrestricted ATP, CFI?

Not overly, but with a good interview that would have gotten you a job over here a year ago with those times. Now a days it's hard to say?

2023 you definitely would've had an interview. You still have a shot, but a letter of rec would be a huge help.

I ve seen/encountered/read posts from people with less than your time, feel like they are entitled to a job at a legacy.
Your humility is refreshing. I like that. More importantly JetBlue recruiters like that. Try and keep flying and do some volunteer work.

Pretty much the same times and they were very responsive. I also had an internal letter of rec. I interviewed in November and was offered a February class date.

Im not really sure if everyone gets that or not. It certainly isn't bad news. What everyone does not get it's the link to take the Video Questions/Interview......
when you get that email......they've definitely looked at you.
