Thanks for the update! Does that mean more interviews this summer for new hire FOs?

Is that just for the period from Sept through December? What do you guys think of this bid?

I also hear that one 320 sim will be down for a while- bottleneck in training? Can anyone advise. Thanx blue pilots for all the good info.

Yes, this is all training to be complete by DEC 2nd I think is the date.

This is most likely to cover attrition, aircraft deliveries and staffing bump up for FAR117 rule changes.

Thanks for the good news.... Hoping for a chance to interview soon!

Thanx BD and is there a sept bid that will be effective in March? Thinkin quarterly. Do they ever have an unsked bid to adapt to jb needs? Thanx again

Ah - okay. I thought you guys were better compensated than Spirit. And of course I forgot about SWA altogether. But I guess my point is that when it comes to negotiating with your management, are they including the big three and Hawaiian in your peer group?

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely think you guys deserve a contract like Delta's. I guess I'm just worried that all of us at the LCC/national level need to prepare ourselves for the idea that management would rather pay for the attrition than pay us what we deserve.

Our peer set currently is the big three(that includes USAIR), Alaska Hawaiian and SWA. Managements wants to include VA and Spirit, I have no problem with this as long as they are weighted according to their size. I wouldn't be surprised to see them try and ad Allegiant in there as well but their aren't mentioning it yet. Yes I agree with you that we have a great product but we are way behind in compensation.

Ah - that's good to hear. You guys are my primary commute and you've always been fantastic. I hope you all end up with a rockstar agreement once the dust settles!
