I have a couple buddies over there and I am psyched to be in Phase Two right now. Can't wait to get over there because of what they relate to me.

Basically, from what I can gather JetBlue is a good place to be, perfect no, but good. There are things they would like to see improve and push that cause as they can.

For me it looks like a place that represents an improvement over where I am now from the perspective of stability, pay over the long term, and a base at home, along with better equipment. Is it a career destination? I don't really know but right now the conventional career places haven't picked up the phone. That said the ability to be based at home, sitting reserve from home is a huge plus in QOL to me.

Correct me if I'm wrong but there is no pool. There are candidates in phase II.

Question regarding domiciles: would FLL or MCO be possible as a new-hire? Or are those senior?

I think they're smaller than the big bases like JFK/BOS. I'd image 190 MCO would be your best bet to get to FL.

Absolutely not possible RIGHT NOW. The company has announced a major expansion to FLL, so in the next couple years it might be possible, just not probable. MCO though, no chance in hell, and MCO is not predicted to grow at all in the coming years.

Yeah I forgot to mention FLL departures are planned to double once infrastructure improvements are complete.

Anyone have an idea when they might open a new window?

Most junior pilot in bid status (~2500 pilots systemwide):
FLL A320 FO = #2209
MCO A320 FO = #2082
MCO E190 FO = #2232

I'm taking a huge WAG and say if you get hired today it will be 12-18 months before you can hold A320 in FLL or E190 in MCO.
