There may not be a technical interview, but interview prep gives you strategies and practice that is hard to replicate on your own.

You didn't need it. Neither did I. But yes you can exercise undesirable traits, have them pointed out to you have have them trained out. At least for the 2-5 hours you need them to. The prep also teaches you how to tell a proper story like JB likes it and not sound like a bumbling knuckle dragging jack wad.
Some guys need it others don't. My advise here is if your even thinking about prep, get it and chalk it up to a learning experience. If your sure you don't need it.... Onward.

Seems to me it doesn't matter what company you're interviewing for I would do everything to prepare. Sounds like a big gamble with perhaps your only chance.
