Urban Dictionary: Fort Liquordale

It's a nickname that pre-dates urban dictionary by many many years.

I had heard it originated during prohibition because fort lauderdale was the port of entry for smuggled rum, but that's pretty pointless information(folklore?) in a JetBlue hiring thread :)

I think its more the fact its the port of entry for us B6 crews to restock the bar at home :D

I've seen the previous post on this but what is the latest gouge on the amount of time a new hire would be on reserve in a AB at JFK? Or where would a guy go to get off of reserve the fastest? 190 or AB?

Just talked to a JFK 190 guy last night. He just hit yr two pay last month. He had a line in march, April, and may, back on RSV june. Don't know about the bus. Flip side to that is another guy, nov 13 hire was ticked because he couldn't hold RSV in mco.

There's a lot of dynamics that fall into your question. Fall hire vs spring hire, guys transferring aircraft, delivery and training schedules.... Lol, sorry that's a lot of bla bla bla to say I don't know, but I'm in the hotel hopped up on coffee.

Just jump on the train and enjoy the ride man.

Once on property you'll probably receive the gouge. Each class seems to receive it one way or another.

If you work here the company will give you everything you need. We don't have a study guide online.
