The place I was at had a Nest that we couldn’t adjust. The owner liked to keep it at about 85 in the winter, no matter how many times we asked him to cool it down. The guy wouldn’t let us save him money, so we kept windows open all winter.

And no, JB did not raise first year pay.
Find a place? I may have an opening 1 Jun.

PM me if interested.

To clarify as I’ve received several responses/queries. I do have openings in Kew Garden area for JFK based pilots. Pilot only, not co-ed, very clean and quiet. 4 minute walk to JB shuttle pickup spot, $290 a month.

Asking around to people you meet in person is the best way to do it. If you're still at the Lodge, just ask when you run into guys in recurrent, upgrading captains, or anyone else out there on the line. If you're already done in Orlando, just chat up guys you fly with, or check out the bulletin board in the crew rooms. I'd definitely be wary of buying into a CP based on craigslist, google, etc without someone looking you in the eyes and telling you the place is OK.
