Scheduling Questions Here
I know how frustrating it was for me to scan through pages of scheduling questions in the JetBlue Hiring thread when I was trying to score an interview, so I'm hoping we can leave that thread alone now and move stuff aimed at guys on the line here.
So here goes:
Has anyone been able to split up a 6 day reserve block into 2 separate 3 days? I bid a few days off for a family event but wasn't granted via the bid, and this appears to be the only way I can work it without using PTO. I was stymied during round 1 because when I requested to move the last day of the 6 day block, it got denied because Flica perceived the day I moved as a lone reserve day. My results tab says "CS: Lone reserve periods not allowed on ___" even though I left the box/ unchecked that says something like "process each request seperately."
The second and third days were rejected for similar reasons, with the message "CS:Lone reserve periods not allowed on _____,Lone reserve periods not allowed on _____."
Is what I am trying to do impossible, or did I just not check the correct buttons?

Sorry don't have an answer to your question. Haven't done reserve in awhile.
What is with FCFS taking so long to process requests? Two hours and 20 minutes now and nothing. This is complete BS. I had nearly this exact system with FLICA at a previous airline and you would get a response within 2-3 minutes. Many times it was nearly instantaneous.

Boy you must be fun to work with. Let me guess you are one of those if you don't like it leave type. God forbid someone actually tries to make things better. Just pointing out that FLICA has the ability to do this FCFS process nearly in real time. Just wondering why it isn't operating that way with Jetblue. Sorry for asking.

Understood but that type of stuff is what computers excel at. Unless they are using a commodore 64, most modern computers should be able to process thousands of requests within seconds. There must be something else that holds it up.

Last I heard that's exactly what the back bones of Flica consist of. Such an antiquated piece of software it's really sad airlines use such archaic software/power. You get what you pay for and jetblue is good at being cheap!
