Contract Talks

I hear the company has there panties in a wad concerning your luggage grip slogans. They must be a little bitter about ALPA being on campus. I hope the JB pilots grow a pair and realize they are in contract talks, no favors to the company, fellas!

What do the luggage grips say?

Why are so worried about JB? Where are you at?

It is pretty sad that Mgmt is upset about the luggage wraps. Pretty sure we all know how negotiations are going to go from here on out.

Spirit, we need a good strong contract and we need the pilots from JB to help pave the way. With the airlines making record profits, all pilot need to unify and help each other.

When will the management teams stop appeasing their shareholders and start recognizing their employees?

Most of our pilots hear at Spirit quit picking up open time at 200% after our CEO classified us as 2nd tier pilots. These management teams do not understand who moves the iron and who makes the money.

Hopefully all pilots will come together and will have enough dignity for our jobs and profession to demand better pay, work rules and overall, better contracts.

It is a one shot opportunity with low oil prices and such great demand.

Together we stand divided we fall!!!

Yes sir, unfortunately we have pilots still picking up RSAs and going the extra mile for the company. Not wearing the liners to show support. It shows support to the JetBlue pilot group not alpa. I'm not an alpa fan, but I wear it to support my fellow blue shirt pilots, to show the company that we're United.

So many don't but yet the will agree we are under paid. Really makes me scratch my head as whatever lanyard they are wearing won't get them a pay raise. Paying 1.9% of your paycheck, might as well start believing!

Lanyards don't get u a pay raise but it shows unity and support to the cause of better compensation for our career. Ask Dave Barger if he had an attorney negotiate his contract with jblue. We lost our medical insurance quality, dependability, premium pay trigger, low credit trips,etc... All done without consulting us or just by sending out an email. The only way to get what we earned by working hard daily, it's by unity and support of each other. Whether we like or not, unions get u contracts.

Agreed, excited to see where we end up. A lot is riding on this for both the pilots and blewjets future.
