One of the Flight Attendants offered to buy it from me if I order it for him because it was (in his words), "Simply fabulousssssss. And darling." Not joking.

I am 6'3" as well. However, wear a 40Long. With it being so cold, I've been wearing both 40L blazer and 40L pea coat together without it fitting too tight. The coat is a Hart Schaffer Marx, which is a pretty good brand... it's sharp looking... so I've been wearing it occasionally off duty too.

While wearing the leather on a very crowded airtrain I was being bombarded with questions pertaining to Disney, check in, learning to fly, etc, all at 5am. Meanwhile the wool coat wearing pilot in stealth mode standing next to me went happily unnoticed. I want a wool coat.

Definitely waiting. Just wondering if I need to request a size larger than my blazer or not when the time comes.
I have heard the same unconfirmed rumor floating around. They have stopped buying new hires the leather and now only issue the overcoat. I would imagine the overcoat is far cheaper for the company. Perrone leather probably didn't deal much on the prices as they know they have a quality product and are pretty much the only player in that department.

It's actually quite warm (been sub-zero with it, no prob), relatively light weight, and looks way more professional than some of those child molester trenchcoats some airlines issue to pilots.
