I've noticed two things this month. People staying on their lines a bit more. If being taken off for something like IOE, meeting back up with your original crew when possible. This is a smart thing as it will allow crews to take turns getting landings in. Last thing they want in YIP is a large number of people coming in for currency needs.
Other thing I've noticed, they are respecting seniority. It is the jr person on their line if they should be bumped down to a DH to accommodate a check airman and their IOE student.
However, it does seem that having a RSV line, less attention is paid to seniority.
I'm now bidding within the 50 most senior FO's and can't really complain about anything on my end. The jr guys are starting to gripe more than usual however.

Yes they do.

ABX has on premise R1's everyday but only on the reserve lines. You have to be Junior Manned at 7.5 hrs pay credit for a line holder to have a layover day turned into an R1 day.

Just out of curiosity. Does anyone know what tail number the triple 7 will be? Also I see 4 FO in Singapore. If I remember right, only one FO bid the triple 7 on the last standing bid.

People were hired for the 777, maybe them.

I think it's less griping and more concern. I really don't mind being on R2 at most of our overnights though DOV leaves much to be desired. But when I see a number of us on reserve in a location with no airplanes, Air Cargo World reporting a sag in cargo demand, coupled with reports of downward pressure on China's economy I do get concerned. I'm not saying the sky is falling by any means but as someone bidding within the 50 most junior FO's who has seen cargo go through a downturn before it does give me pause.

I met at least 1 new hire that was hired 777 FO. I agree the other 2 are probably new hires.

I met a new hire 777 FO when I was in YIP a few weeks ago. Has a bunch of prior triple experience

There are a lot of pilots over here that came from flying a 777. Bid just came out for four additional 777 CA's.

A lot of 777 movement for a plane(s) that aren’t even on property yet...

They have a video store there. A real one. With tangible videos. That you can walk out of the store with. In your hand. 1999 style. The Chinese restaurant closes at 1800. Even on weekends.
