I would be worried to work for a company who's owner would see fit to put David Soaper in charge of an airline. But yeah, there's a lot going on there.....

Just a quick update to perhaps quell the rumor factory...
We have slowed hiring a bit. The OE backlog is driving the hiring. Too many folks waiting in the wings and it makes no sense to train more pilots that get to sit and wait for OE. Not permanent, but is the deal right now. So, classes of 16 have become classes of 8.
Having said that, interviews continue. And, there is a need for lots of bodies going forward. 747 is mostly movement, upgrades and transitions. A few more 767s in the plan, as well as (hopefully) at least 4 more 777s starting in early 2020.
We are a dynamic company and there are huge things happening under the radar that can make explosive changes if they come to fruition. Don't discount the Bounty Hunter.
Keep your resumes coming. Update often. This has been and is an amazing place to work. We have our small issues, as does every place. But there are big things coming.
Just sayin'...

Believe me, after 15 years of “good news is coming” in the regional world where things continually got worse, I’m optimistic as to where things here are headed. There’s got to be a reason behind the continuous hiring despite very small attrition numbers.
It never sunk in until I hit the line, but people are right when they talk about what a “hidden gem” this place is.

Seriously, at the regionals, it was, "my last flight canceled, I now have to find a hotel room along with everyone else", to "Damn it, I didn't get the first class upgrade on my paid commute into work, and I am also sitting in Nagoya, Japan for a few days instead of flying! Arghhh!!!"

When to apply?
Hey guys so I just passed the minimum requirements and I'm very interested in Kallita but in the event I was offered a class I'm not available to start until the end of January or early February 2020. Should I go ahead and apply now or wait a couple months? Thanks
