Atlas management also agreed to open negotiations early back in 2015, during a time of explosive growth and business opportunities.

Naturally we could have done incredible things had they honored that agreement. But here we are, 4 years later.

Maybe against all odds Kalitta does in fact honor this agreement, but the odds say, the company will delay. And I think the union needs to really consider the fact that worldwide cargo is slowing down and overall economic pointers are questionable at best.

Good luck. I would love to see the Kalitta crews get a great deal.

How long will the TBNT of non 777 type rated candidates go on for? There can't be that many out there who aren't already flying the 777 at their career carrier?

Some one said on another thread that we hired 13 Southern pilots. If that is true, I'd imagine a few more will come. I don't doubt for a moment that it will open up again to everyone next year. Also keep in mind that peek season is quickly approaching and newhire stops.

Guys are getting hired at southern with near ATP minima. I bet a lot will be from there. Returning Expats find it difficult to get into the legacy game since it turns out that actual professional qualifications matter less than politics These days. K4 is a breath of fresh air in that sense.

The MAJOR difference being that K4 is a private company and does not have a board and share holders demanding that the executives do whatever it takes to maximize profits.

Eh that's true. PM would have been more appropriate.
