I had a LinkedIn contact who said he would put a word in for me, but I never found out if it happened. For sure I don’t think it ever amounted to a letter of recommendation. So correct, no internal rec.

If it isn't required then I doubt they would be added. I have never looked into the regs to see when lay-flat rest areas are required.

Omni has a couple of 300s with bunks. The rest are first class lie-flatish with a big curtain around them. They're not that bad, once you get used to them, but bunks they are not.

AviationInterviews has quite accurate information. AFAIK nothing has really changed in the process in the past year (though they really should screen people out who click “Reply All” to emails...)
