thanks, but are they still doing the "short course" with prior boeing type rating, or are these guys truly off the street? I didn't see any job openings on the website

the ones going through training right now are doing the full AQP course.

no idea on that or if they even did. I think a couple were re-hires Just outside of the timeframe for just doing a CQ event to get current and needed the full AQP

There have been about 12 rehires who only needed recurrent training. There are about 5 new hires who were interviewed last fall/winter who were swimming in the pool ever since the pandemic started.

That will be sometime in the fall. It’s predicated on Boeing’s schedule for our next triple, and once those slots are filled with internal candidates and a backfill is required, it shall recommence.
