Default Flight benefits?

Hello all!
I've been reading through the forum and gathering as much info as I can about Kalitta. I haven't found anything about travel benefits though. Do you have access to ZED fares or something similar? I am originally from Spain and my parents still live there, so I go back very often to visit. Would I still be able to do this if I were at Kalitta? I currently work for a regional and have stand by travel benefits with American, Delta and United.
Thanks!

No ZED or ID90. A requirement for that is to be able to reciprocate, we do not have cockpit doors, so only properly vetted people are allowed on our airplanes. We do have jumpseat agreements, which works for you, but not your family members.

That's what I imagined, but just wanted to confirm it.
How about miles/points with airlines? Do employees get to accrue miles with deadheads? I don't know how practical this would be though. Would you get enough to be able to go round trip to Europe a couple times a year?

Yes, you get miles for the commercial flights. It’s relativley easy to accrue status on one airline if you live in a town that is a hub for that airline, or served mostly by that airline (ie AA in Dallas or DAL in Atlanta).

As for you flying to Europe on a budget, just jump on one of our planes, or another cargo carrier. We have jumpseat agreements with quite a few carriers.

With the amount of money you'll be making, you can afford to buy tickets anywhere you want.

Medical benefits after 90 days. You will be in CASS and get a KCM card almost immediately. Cant remember if the 401k is immediate or there is a delay. Company will credit you 7 days of sick leave immediately and after a year you will earn more sick leave monthly. Vacation, you will be credited 14 days on your one year start date and then begin accruing monthly.

Can anyone in training on the 747 chime on the time line for training? Schedule, days off etc. Do guys jumpseat home on days for important stuff?

How long from 1st day to FAM flight? As I recall it is basic indoc, then CBT and off to the sim correct?

If someone can PM, would be great.

There were two guys in my class jumpseating home all the time for “important stuff”. Both failed out. Another guy had his entire family in the hotel room, he made it to the sim then decided he’d rather drive a school bus. I believe this is 85% why they now do all the testing during the interview.
