Can anyone provide more detailed info on the number of trips within the overall 16 day blocks that start and end at CVG and whether those go more or less senior? Also, are they primarily 76, or do the 74’s run in and out of CVG as well?
I am fairly close to CVG and from what I read in the forum this could help break up the 16 days a bit. Thanks in advance.

On the 767 everything is out of CVG. If someone lived in CVG you would probably only spend 7-8 nights away from home. I know of a couple people who moved there just so they’d have the weekends off. Both 747 and 767 are good gigs, unfortunately crew scheduling will sometimes make the job harder than it needs to be. ![Big Grin](https://www.airlinepilotforums.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

So the 767 lines are a bunch if 2 and 3 day trips? I assume they are back-to-back trips and not much time home inbetween otherwise it would go crazy senior correct? It's dangerous ASSuming...

You assume wrong. Your pairing is 16 days, just like the 747. The trips just go through CVG. It is possible that you COULD sleep in your own bed during that pairing while in CVG but you would still be on your pairing, not off. This is ACMI. The trips, cities and anything else are subject to change on very little notice. What is a sweet gig today can be tommorrows nightmare and vice versa.
Do you owe 16 days of work a month? Does that include travel at the front/back?

Yes you owe 16 days. Our contract does not specify that you must be out 16 days but our current management has taken the attitude for years that if he can have you for 16 or 17 he will have you out for that long. Occasionally you might get home a day or even two early but as of late they are so short that it hasn't happened to me in over a year. Travel is on your last day off. Sometimes there are split lines. Then you lose two days off to travel. Depending on where you live and where the trip leaves from you could be giving up a little or a lot of hours on the last day. I personally don't think this is a great job for those with young children or needy significant others. For me the schedule works great. I came home yesterday and will be off nearly three weeks before going back. Of course what suits you is a personal choice. Finally, all of this info and much more is buried in the thread above. Anyone who is interested in Kalitta Air should take an hour or two and read through the thread for the good, the bad and the ugly.

Dear Stimpy, you are correct. Our relationship is more in the line of a pimp/prostitute/John dynamic. My pimp (wife) sends me (prostitute) out to turn tricks with a John (Connie) willing to pay for my services.
