I believe it was the 20+ hour limitation that was unpopular, not 24.

In the past year I've exceeded 20 hours on six occasions, only once exceeding 24.

If you look at the pages from ABOUT 190 and up; there were lots of posts referencing as much as 30 hour duty days and how Kalitta pilots would not accept less duty, because they could not make money.

Were those guys lying?

Just try to do your best to get released. Thats the only way things get done. Company(any company) doesnt care what the union does or says as long as "airplanes move".

NMB should be ashamed of themselves. 6 yrs in talks !! Absolutley absurd !!

Hopefully you guys get the contract you deserve, but this information is not accurate. It was all prorated and three month employees certainly didn't get $40k.

Days off....I think you mean days in a hotel at work. If it is a day off in HKG, will CK fly you home to spend it with the family? A layover is NOT a day off!

No rigs is a non-starter in today's environment and management saved you guys from yourselves by pulling this deal if rigs were not included in this TA.

When was the AIP released? How does anyone except a select few know what the agreement contains?

I seriously doubt Kalitta pilots would consider an agreement that did not have rigs, but did have unpaid days on the road.

That would be PATHETIC.
