Default Kalitta stabs crews in the back

This morning, it was announced that Kalitta Management has totally and ruthlessly stabbed its crews in the back. After more than 6 long years a tentative agreement was reached and management sent a letter to the crewmembers touting the fact that the TA was in place and was good for everyone.

Suddenly and without warning, Kalitta management informed the union that they would no longer honor the commitment they made to the crews and they were refusing to sign any contract. They lied. They stabbed us in the back. They blindsided us in a despicable fashion.

For those of you who have been on the fence during this process, its time to decide if you stand with your brothers and sisters in the hopes of a better future for yourselves and families or with the untrustworthy liars in Building One. Those who choose to side with bldg. one would be advised to carefully consider that choice.

If you are considering accepting a class date at Kalitta, keep in mind that a serious job action is both very likely and imminent.

The FIGHT is on.

Yes, fly by the book.
Been in the same boat with Evergreen, Tradewinds, AA and a few other operators.

I'm so sorry to hear this for the Kalitta Pilots. Best wishes to get this resolved.

If I were a K4 crewmember I'd be so ****ed that I'd be unfit to fly today. That's a very serious comment too. I'd be unsafe to fly because I'd be so upset. These are people's careers here that are being destroyed.
