You can be a travel/agency nurse/p.t./o.t./r.t. in the same city you live in and not have to move anywhere.
You know NOTHING of which you speak, and I for one have no interest in educating someone like you-but for the many who have p.m.'d me, keep them coming fellas-I will help in any way I can. I'd fly with de727. I've personally always enjoyed his perspective. |

He'd prolly open some window and have you sucked out, if you started crying. :D de727: Ohhh....that's just plain mean spirited. I only mentioned the pay in direct response to a challenge. Review the thread. Wouldn't have mentioned it otherwise. That said, I think it's good for folks to see the top end. Gives them something to shoot for in spite of much of the doom and gloom at this forum. I don't mean to come across with a big ego. If you met me in real life, you'd not believe it was DE.... Gulp - so many Prozac to take and so little time... and there is the lights again.... Muaaaaaaahahahaaa! |

Actually, I did some research and discovered that many hospitals won't hire traveling nurses who live within a certain radius. And right they shouldn't. So tell me how it is that I know nothing. I certainly don't know everything, but I'd wager I'm closer to that end than the nothing end. You know almost nothing about me.

Here's the link again-you may want to pass it along to your girlfriends supposed 3 friends. www.faststaff.com The figures you see under each respective state represent after tax take home pay. I am also on the board at the facility where I practice, so I know EXACTLY what these nurses make each week. There are thousands of others. Do your homework son, before you open your mouth and get embarrased Me be "embarrased?, its with two S's, You would think being on the "board" you would at least be able to spell? |
...
A "joke"?
And this statement is coming from someone that's in the "biz" because his "girlfriend" makes all the money? btw, thanks for the spell check. |

Hey Captain America,
What am I missing here? You sit reserve, apparently commute, flew only 100 hours last year and earned $308,000 from UPS in a year? I'll assume 80 hours guarantee a month on reserve= 960 hours of pay a year. Now if you aggressive reserve every single one of your 100 hours and assumed they never called you for a single trip all year, that's $308,000 divided by 1060 total hours which equals $290/hour for a 757 captain. And apparently a junior 757 captain since you have to sit reserve. Assuming no aggressive reserve and 960 hours that's $320/hr. I know they pay well, but hmmmm. Care to shed some light? |
"Hey Captain America Care to shed some light?"
Not really.... You gonna tell us what great business you left flying for? |
