What I was asking is your reserve line really only 14 days or is it closer to 18 like most airlines.

Everyone knows that you do well. By waving around such a huge numbers is very inflammatory to others who are not doing as good and you know it. To inflame others is why you are doing it. A gentleman would keep that information to themselves.

If you are going to state such a claim and your intent is to inspire others then perhaps you should back it up with a valid statement of some kind.

If I were to make an income statement from my business you would be the first to jump my case demanding details.

On what you are making a move to SoCal would be a no brainer in my book.

No way would I go back to flying the old A/C that a 135 freight operator uses. Been there done that got the t-shirt. On the other hand most turbine ambulance gigs pay much better than 40K not 300K but enough to support a family on pending on your lifestyle. Not really. I don't look at it the same way. I didn't mean to brag. If someone challenges me (a la Tony M) that you can't make X amount in aviation, and I make X amount, I think remaining silent would be a disservice to the truth. Don't you? Had Tony M made the comment at the Cargo forum, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

Another way to look at it. Let's say Skyhigh leaves the career because the pay sucks and he wants to be home every night. I think if one is considering following Skyhigh's example, it's fair that one should be able to ask Skyhigh was he makes and what his business is (had to ask CGdaddy three times....) I disagree that it's improper to provide that info. I mean, perhaps it's something you don't want people to know, like where you live. Myself, I don't worry about that (Spokane, WA). I guess I just look at it differently. If someone asks me what I make, it doesn't bother me to tell them.

Yeah, it takes time. Networking is key if you have a target. Sometimes you have to wait for somebody to retire (or die) to slide into the perfect gig. Good luck.
