Unfortunately for most "research" means asking Embry Riddle about the realities of an aviation career. It is hard to get the true story. I think that we all should chip in to start an organisation that is dedicated to mailing everyone with a new student pilots licence a DVD about the truth of a career in professional aviation starring Brianb.

Believe it or not, that starting salary sounds about right for the majors. The regional starting pay, however, is on an entirely different dimension.

Most majors start in the 30's. Unless your talking foreign carriers. The article is still inaccurate. Either way for commuters or majors the pay is not accurately reflected in that article.

No need to make a DVD, Frontline already did.
