Ryane946,
Ask other furloughed pilots from some of those legacy companies how many times they have been furloughed in their career at those airlines., Ex. NWA, DAL, American etc. I believe the NWA, DAL job is just as risky as Skybus, VA. I wouldnt touch any of these legacies. When things go bad you are on the street. Atleast at SWA, JB and Airtran, FedEX they treat their employess with respect and work with them to prevent layoffs. None of those four laid any pilots off after 911. The rest of the majors did and has a long history of it. In V's defense I agree with a Alpa National pilot seniority with all airlines and I am encouraged with the JB possibility for ALPA. Nothing is stopping anyone from promoting ALPA at these new start ups. Give them a reason to come on board instead of turning them away and shunning them. The divide and conqueor attitude does not work.

You're right, I have posted this on numerous other threads. He IS hiding. He won't deny or admit that it might be Alaska or CAL. He is laughing green, knowing he can pull everyone's chain. But nevertheless, to me, his posts are meaningless now. He doesn't want to answer to anyone, afraid of consequences of his idiotic JS rantings. I would be interested in one post where he says, "I work for ....." But he is not all that important. He is probably an outcast at his own airline and enjoys the attention I and others have given him.

ryane946, it's definitely better that you take that pilot job, since your "Airline Stock Picks" on the MAJOR board titled BUY AIRLINE STOCKS NOW! didn't fair so well. Wouldn't want you as my investment advisor.

The email I just got from Skybus says FO's get 35k plus 1200 stock options. Upgrade time 6-12 months. I'm not too sure why everyone expects them to compete with established airlines before they fly a single revenue flight.
