There were others who saw it too in Arizona’s southwestern sky around the same time. Wasn’t Tessla’s launch done at Canaveral?

Re-entering rocket stages could circle the earth on the way down.

It orbited earth for for while before it did the last (3rd) burn to exit earths orbit and proceed towards mars and beyond. That was the burn seen in the southwestern sky.
